However there are still those hard to reach places where plague and calculus build up between the teeth the backs of teeth and below the gum line.

    The dentist is best equipped to clean your teeth thoroughly and will leave your teeth not only looking cleaner but feeling cleaner too.

    It is important to have a checkup scale & polish every six months for total oral health.

Once satisfied he will begin the clean with an ultrasonic scaler which vibrates at high speed and shoots a jet of water, this removes any plague and calculus build up. What is it?

    A tooth may need to be removed from the mouth if it cannot be saved through any other treatment. Most commonly teeth are extracted when a tooth is broken through trauma/accident, decay or if it is loose. There are many reasons an extraction may be necessary so it is important to consult with your dentist to make an effect plan you both agree on.

    There are two types of tooth extraction;

    Simple extraction:  This is the most common type of extraction and is straight forward. Used when the tooth is visible or loose in the mouth.

    Surgical extraction:  This is a more complicated procedure and is necessary if a tooth is broken at the gum line or is below the gum line. This type of extraction takes more time and in some instances can only be carried out by an oral surgeon.  In this case the dentist will refer you.

    What can you expect from your visit to White Smile Dental for an extraction?

    Once you have made an appointment you will be sent a reminder text the day before with our details and address. Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a new patient form and take a seat in our comfortable waiting area.

    Aftercare notes are given at the end of your appointment to guide you post treatment.

    Simple extraction from €75 – €80

    Surgical extraction from €150

    In seven years, White Smile Dental have treated over 50,000 patients for laser teeth whitening. This possibly makes us the most experienced specialist tooth whitener in Ireland.

    Due to tooth whitenings incredible popularity there is a plethora of whitening products on the market. However, many products are inferior, performed by unqualified personnel or simply do not work.

    White Smile Dental provides complete, impartial advice if you are considering a laser teeth whitening treatment.

    Here’s are the top three things you need to know about teeth whitening;

    1. Laser teeth whitening is the most effective way to whiten teeth quickly.
    2. Take home kits (trays) are excellent for maintaining your new shade after laser teeth whitening but can also be used as a standalone product to whiten teeth.
    3. Laser teeth whitening is usually completely pain free. It is safe, easy, and does not damage the enamel.

    How Does Teeth whitening Work?
    Teeth whitening generally occurs when Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is exposed to the enamel and dentine of a tooth (the layer directly under the enamel). When Hydrogen Peroxide penetrates through the enamel, pigmentation found in the dentine tube oxidizes rendering a white finish which is reflected through the translucent enamel.

    • We have seen over 50,000 patients in Ireland for teeth whitening treatments
    • Safe and effective, up to 8 shades whiter
    • Brilliant results within the hour

    Three options

    • Laser Teeth Whitening €99
    • Laser Teeth Whitening And Take Home Kit €160
    • Laser Teeth Whitening And Customised Take Home Kit €259
